BrunuhVille – King of the North

By Ken Wai Lau

Seeing as it’s that time of year again, I thought this tune would be a suitable track to listen to, particularly if you are planning a snowstorm filled adventure up North for the festive season. Not only does the tune get you in the mood for winter, but it is reminiscent of the soundtrack to games like Icewind Dale I & II.

It also sounds reasonably epic – especially towards the end – so it’s probably best used if something is about to go down or if your troops are marching through the snow towards glory.

He composes music for the Gothic, Celtic, Epic, Emotional, World, Piano and New Age genres.

Not to be confused with the King of the North from the Game of Thrones, this is a track from the album Aura, composed by BrunuhVille. BrunuhVille (real name Bruno) is a Portuguese music composer who has been composing music for the last five years and his music is influenced by the works of Hans Zimmer, Thomas Bergersen, Nightwish, Nox Arcana and many others. He is also inspired by piano based anime soundtracks and has eight years experience as a piano player.

Aura is the only album produced by BrunuhVille to be released as a CD.

You can hear the whole album here.

There isn’t an awful lot of information about the album in your post. Is there a website where I can read more about the artist or the album?
